Description
Grace Note Chimes are designed for ultimate clarity of tone with sustained resonance. They feature a unique pinned
suspension bar, combined with high quality materials and craftsmanship. The suspension bar, located at the “Musical
Node, as well as the sophisticated musical tunings, has earned Grace Note Windchimes the reputation of being true
musical instruments. Each tube is tuned to a specific note and tested for tonal accuracy. All tunings are in the key of C,
with corresponding notes and chord engraved on one side of each aluminum wind paddle. The tubes are suspended
at various heights so the striker can hit each tube in the middle, assuring consistent ring volume for each tube.
Chime Length:
The length of a wind chime is measured by the overall length of the chime, from the hanging ring to the end of the wind
paddle.
Maintenance and Care Instructions
Grace Note Chimes are handcrafted from thick, tempered aluminum tubing with a soft, brushed finish. Each chime
features a wood striker made of recycled composite lumber, which is environmentally friendly and creates a softer
contact sound when applied to aluminum tubing. These strikers are not subject to drying or cracking and require no
maintenance. Both the stainless steel hanging ring and the custom-made braided Dacron string are weather-resistant
for years of enjoyment. In corrosive environments, like coastal areas, the chimes will maintain a high luster if treated
semi-annually with a protective lubricant such as gun oil or silicon spray. If cleaning is desired, we suggest that you
use a nonmetallic scouring pad. Do not use steel wool.

Grace Note Windchimes now guarantees their product for 10 years and as many of you know they far outlive their
warranty, although exposure to harsh elements will eventually affect even the highest quality materials. That is why
Grace Note Windchimes offers a complete Windchime repair after the warranty expires. The repair includes new
strings, new striker, wind plate, rebrushed tubes and new top ring, basically your chime comes back to you just like
brand new. Once your chime is received it is repaired promptly and shipped back to you. The price of the repair
depends on the size of your chime.
