In corrosive environments, like coastal areas, the chimes will maintain a high luster if treated semi-annually with a protective lubricant such as gun oil or silicon spray. If cleaning is desired, we suggest that you use a nonmetallic scouring pad. Do not use steel wool. Chimes made prior to 2004 are guaranteed against breakage for 5 years. Windchime Repair
Grace Note Windchimes now guarantees their product for 10 years and as many of you know they far outlive their warranty, although exposure to harsh elements will eventually affect even the highest quality materials. That is why Grace Note Windchimes offers a complete windchime repair after the warranty expires. The repair includes new strings, new striker, windplate, rebrushed tubes and new top ring, basically your chime comes back to you just like brand new. Once your chime is received it is repaired promptly and shipped back to you. Once your chime is received it is repaired and shipped back to you (please allow 3-4 weeks for return). Breeze and Mariah chimes with 3/8" rod or 7/16" tube cannot be repaired. If you own one of these chimes in need of repair please contact us.

Composite lumber is not only environmentally friendly it also creates a softer contact sound when applied to wind chime tubing.
